USA's Top Diver Turns Pro to Train for 2012 Games

David Boudia, the nation's top collegiate diver, has announced his decision to forfeit his fourth and final year of eligibility at Purdue University in order to dive professionally and train for the 2012 Olympic Games. David has won a total of six NCAA Titles, three NCAA Diver of the Year Awards, and three Big Ten Diver of the Year awards during his collegiate reign.

"The decision not to compete alongside my teammates at Purdue was a very difficult one," said David Boudia. "If not for my complete focus on making the 2012 USA Olympic team and representing the United States in London, I would never have considered it.   For me to be able to compete with the greatest divers in the world, I need to travel to where they compete.  Turning pro gives me that flexibility and I think this will make all the difference in me achieving my goals."

David's international titles and experience elevate him to one of the best divers in the world. A 14-time National Champion with 17 National Titles, David is a Pan American Games Gold Medalist and two-time World Championships Medalist.

David has signed with Premier Management Group (PMG) to help expand his public image and marketing potential as he strives to make diving a more recognizable sport through his endeavors. While he will not be competing at the collegiate level, David will continue his education at Purdue and train with his coach Adam Soldati as he finishes his degree.
