Kim Vandenberg began her swimming career at a very early age. Growing up in the small town of Moraga, California, Kim would spend each summer racing her two brothers in the pool. From here, her competitive fire and natural swimming ability flourished, making Kim want to compete at the highest level. At the age of 15, Kim set the High School National Record in the 100 free, making her first of many marks in the sport of swimming.

After a successful collegiate swimming campaign at UCLA, which included All-American honors in the butterfly and an NCAA silver medal in the 200m butterfly, Kim Vandenberg turned professional in 2007. That same year, Kim saw instant success by earning a silver medal in the 200m butterfly at her first World Championships in 2007. More successes followed and at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, Kim won a bronze medal as part of Team USA's 4 X 200m freestyle relay team. In 2010, Kim was the French National Champion in the 100m butterfly, and she was the 2010 and 2011 Paris Open Champion in the 200m butterfly.

Armed with enviable swimming talent and a History degree from UCLA, Kim Vandenberg has a bright future ahead of her both inside and outside of the pool. With continued success in the pool, Kim is sure to be swamped with opportunities for product licensing as she has desirable marketing traits for companies when it comes to product licensing. In addition, Kim has future aspirations of a career in public relations and is destined for success in her endeavors.
